(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Majan Development Company has started Phase III of the Al Muzn project, which includes residential units, in a complex located in Mawaleh North, opposite Al Mouj Muscat.
At a press conference held on Tuesday to announce this, Mohammed bin Abdullah al Kindi, CEO of Majan Development Company, said, 'The project is a new addition to the company's other mixed-use projects. The project is a 127-unit high-rise apartment complex with 13 commercial showrooms and facilities to ensure the highest levels of well-being for residents.'
The investment in the project exceeds RO7mn and is spread over 6,000sq m on a total built up area of 20,000sq m over five floors, including parking and all facilities required of a residential complex and commercial integrated services.
According to Kindi, the residential units project is a continuation to the mixed-use Al Muzn complex in the same location that follows the commercial centre - Al Muzn Mall and a 3-star hotel - which will open in the first quarter of 2019, followed by other projects in the Al Muzn Complex.
The residential apartments in the Al Muzn project have been designed to different specifications and sizes ranging from 75 to 140sq m with one, two and three bedrooms equipped with modern amenities.
To ensure luxury and provide all the amenities required of a complete residential and commercial complex, the project will offer residents a garden, green spaces, gym, swimming pool, adequate parking for cars and family entertainment.
The construction of the project was initiated by Al Subhiah Trading and Contracting as the main contractor.
Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah al Khalili, chairman of Al Subhiah Trading and Contracting, said, 'We are delighted to be a part of the Al Muzn Projects and in the construction of the residential units which is Phase III of the Al Muzn Complex. The company has completed the construction work of Al Muzn Mall successfully in due time, reflecting the confidence of Majan Development Company in our company.'
While the project will be officially launched before the end of this year, the residential units will be completed within 18 months.
Majan Development Company has appointed Tibiaan Properties exclusively to market and sell the Al Muzn residential project.
