(MENAFN) Hezbollah's leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah made an appeal to political parties to continue their talks until a consensus on setting up a government in Lebanon is secured.
In a televised address, the Hezbollah leader stated "we hope that discussions among political parties lead to a positive result."
The leader stressed his party's desire to steer clear from taking the matter to the street in order to push for the new cabinet's creation.
Nasrallah further added that "our country is secure today and we want to preserve this status quo."
