Kuwaiti oil up 49 cents to USD 71.02 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Aug 15 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went up 49 cents to reach USD 71.02 per barrel (pb) on Tuesday, compared to USD 70.53 pb last Monday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced Wednesday.
On the global scale, prices dropped after the US Dollar's rise and investors continued concern over Turkey's financial crisis.
Brent Blend was down 15 cents to USD 72.46 pb, same did the West Texas Intermediate crude, which dropped 16 cents to USD 67.04. (end) osj.gaa
