(MENAFN) Israel's navy forces were unveiled to have arrested five fishermen from Palestine off the coast of the Gaza Strip.
The news has been revealed by head of Gaza's fishermen union Nizar Ayyash during an interview with Anadolu Agency.
The Gaza's fishermen union head announced "the five fishermen were detained while fishing off northern Gaza's shores."
However, the Israeli Navy failed to issue a response on the news as of yet.
The fishermen union explained that nearly 50,000 Palestinians in Gaza work in fishing in order to earn a living.
