(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar has strongly condemned the explosion that targeted a gendarmerie and public security joint patrol in Jordan's Fuheis, killing one security personnel and injuring six others.
In a statement Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance in rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and causes. The ministry affirmed Qatar's solidarity with the Jordanian government and its support for any measures it takes to maintain security. It also expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of victims as well as the government and people of Jordan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
