Greece: train fatally strikes two migrants


(MENAFN) Greek police declared that two migrants have died after being struck by the same local train in two different cases in northeastern Greece.

Police in the city of Alexandroupolis confirmed that the train on the Alexandroupolis-Ormenio rails goes across the Greek-Turkish border a few kilometers (miles) to the east.

The train struck two people passing the tracks at 12:50 am, soon after it left Alexandroupolis.

Police added that one died at the scene meanwhile the other sustained critical wounds before dying in hospital. €ƒ
