(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The annual scientific researches and innovations exhibition 'Omani Expo for Omani Students Abroad' was held last week.
It is a voluntary initiative of some Omani students studying at the University of Oregon and targets Omani students studying abroad.
The exhibition aims to improve the scientific research knowledge by encouraging students studying abroad for their bachelor's degree to present their projects and researches, and link them to companies interested in scientific research, employment and training in Oman.
The first edition of the exhibition was held in 2016 with the cooperation of the Ministry of Higher Education, Sultan Qaboos University and The Research Council. After a lapse of a year, the exhibition was held this year with new innovations, inventions and researches, with more than 30 projects and innovations taking part in it.
An exhibition was also held at GUtech to promote the culture of scientific research.
