(MENAFN) The governor of Lebanon's Central Bank gas rejected reports of financial instability, stressing that the country is witnessing stability in its monetary conditions.
The statement has been made by Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh following a meeting with Lebanese President Michel Aoun at Baabda Palace.
Governor Salameh emphasized that Lebanon is projecting a 2 percent growth to be recorded within this year.
Salameh added that based on current trends, deposits in banks in the country are recording a 5 percent growth each year.
