(MENAFN- Gulf Times) President of the Qatar Football Association Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al-Thani met yesterday with Romania's ambassador to Qatar Cristian Tudor and also held a meeting with Croatia ambassador Drago Lovric. The two meetings focused on relations between Qatar and Croatia and Romania and also ways of supporting and developing them in the football side, as Qatar prepares to host the World Cup in 2022. QFA president congratulated the Croatia ambassador for his country'sperformance in the World Cup in Russia, where they finished second to France.
