(MENAFN) Lebanese MP Walid Succarieh assured on Monday that it was the political decision of the state that ensured security and stability in Baalbek and Hermel, urging the development of security plans to control outlaws in the aforementioned regions and to ensure their development, NNA reported.
"The poor economic situation majorly contributed to security chaos in this region," he told the Voice of Lebanon radio station.
In the same vein, the lawmaker stressed that no one enjoyed political cover, confirming that all offenders will be punished.
