Jordan- King, UAE Vice President discuss ties, region


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Mecca, June 11(Petra)-- His Majesty King Abdullah II, in presence of HRH Crown Prince Hussein, early Monday, met with UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, during which they discussed bilateral ties and regional developments.

His Majesty and Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid stressed keenness to continue coordination and consultation between the two countries, to address regional challenges and serve the Arab nation's issues.

The King expressed his appreciation for the UAE, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for its continuous support to Jordan and implementation of various developmental projects in the Kingdom.

The meeting was also attended by the King's Advisor, the King's Office Director, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Future Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi as well as Minister of Health and Prevention AbdulRahman Bin Mohamed Al Owais.
