Israel arrests 11 Palestinians in Isawiya town


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, May 30 (Petra) -- Israeli occupation forces early Wednesday arrested 11 Palestinians from Isawiya town in occupied Jerusalem, according to a Palestinian source.

Member of the local follow-up committee in the town, Mohammad Abu al-Humus, said in a statement that Israeli occupation forces and intelligence stormed the town in the early hours of the morning and carried out an arrest campaign.

Israeli forces adopt the policy of collective punishment against the people of the town including daily raids, searching houses and shops, and imposing fines, the source added.
