"We were disappointed with the US decision to withdraw from the JCPOA. We work to support the regional stability, together with Azerbaijan and Iran and we would like to see the full implementation of the international agreements. Iran's position on the agreement was also supported by the International Energy Agency and many other countries and organizations," said the ambassador.

He added that the countries of the region and beyond it must cooperate to gain strengthen their development and achieve peace and stability.

"We hope to continue the work on building a better world for our peoples. Iran, Azerbaijan and Turkey will continue to expand trilateral cooperation, supporting regional security and prosperity, increasing benefits for all the three countries," Hakan Tekin said.

US President Trump warned on May 8 that the country will walk away from the nuclear accord of 2015, reached between Tehran and the six world powers. Trump also announced that the Washington re-imposes the "highest level of economic sanctions" on the Islamic Republic.
