(MENAFN- Asia Times) A Lebanese man was sentenced to three months in jail for hugging and groping a Filipino woman he had hired in February to clean his apartment in International City, Dubai.
While she was cleaning, the man called her into his bedroom after he took a shower. He asked her to give him a massage, Gulf News reported.
When the woman refused, he hugged and groped her as he tried to talk her into giving him a massage. He also offered to pay her 100 dirhams (US$27), but she refused.
The woman left the apartment and reported the incident to police, who arrested the man shortly afterward.
On Tuesday at the Dubai Court of First Instance, the man was convicted and sentenced to three months in jail. He will be deported after he serves his punishment.
