(MENAFN) Lebanese President Michel Aoun made a vow to local workers to provide them with protection from foreign labor competition and safeguard their rights.
The Lebanese president guaranteed that the country is already investing an effort for this purpose, as he marked the International Labor Day.
In a message via his media office, President Aoun pledged "I will spare no effort to promote the conditions of workers, preserve their rights and protect them from the competition of foreigners, which are negatively affecting the social security."
