Yemen: four die in landmine explosion


(MENAFN) Police and medical sources declared that over four people have died as another five were wounded in a landmine explosion in Yemen's southeastern province of Shabwa.

A police officer in Shabwa confirmed that the landmine which was placed by Shiite Houthi militants in Osylan blasted,leaving four people dead and another five inured.

He added: "I can confirm four people died and five others were injured. The Houthis who occupied Osylan previously planted hundreds of landmines. A civilian vehicle ran over one of that landmines today,"

While Ali Fahid,a civilian announced: "The blast happens seconds after a car passed in the area that is not cleared yet of landmines,"
