Israel's wall building at Lebanon's border back to track

(MENAFN) Israeli Zionist regime has resumed construction of the concrete border wall with Lebanon, south of the Blue Line, which is a border demarcation between Lebanon and Israel published by the United Nations on 7 June 2000 for the purposes of determining whether Israel had fully withdrawn from Lebanon, NNA reported.

Lebanese officials labeled the line as violation of their territorial integrity, saying there are 13 border points between Lebanon and the occupied Palestine, the international borders have not yet been determined between the two sides and until then, the Zionist regime should not take any measures like building border wall.

Construction of the wall was stopped after the Syrian air defense shot down an Israel F16 jet fighter.

Meanwhile, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah Movement, said: ''Israel's act indicated that all the measures taken by Zionist regime in this area were useless, so it decided to build a wall along the borders."
