29 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in eight days of Gaza protests


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Gaza City, Apr 7 (Petra) –– Twenty-nine Palestinian civilians have been shot and killed and more than 2,850 wounded by Israeli forces since the start of the peaceful March of Return on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip more than a week ago, according to the Health Ministry in Gaza.

The ministry's spokesman, Dr. Ashraf al-Kedra, said that among the wounded were 1,296 who were hit by live fire and that 79 of them sustained serious injuries.
