Ryanair to launch 14 new airline routes to Jordan


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, March 28 (Petra)--The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) announced the launch of 14 new airline routes to Jordan operated by the European low-cost carrier Ryanair.

Director General of the JTB Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat said in a press statement on Wednesday that Ryanair started operating the first flight from Paphos (Cyprus) to Amman as of yesterday.

"Ryanair will also fly to Amman from Bologna, Brussels, Bucharest, Budapest, Krakow, Milan, Paphos, Prague, Vilinius and Warsaw, with flights to Aqaba going from Athens, Cologne, Rome and Sofia," he said.

Ryanair's Chief Commercial Officer David O'Brien said the new routes would collectively deliver nearly 500,000 passengers to Amman and Aqaba airports annually.
