Egypt begins second day of polls in presidential election

(MENAFN) Egyptians begun making their way to cast ballots on the second day of the presidential election, with President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi anticipated for a massive win.

Egypt has opened its polling stations on Tuesday at 9am, after the first day was concluded peacefully when concerns were raised of potential terror strikes.

Liberal Ghad Party's chair Moussa Mostafa Moussa is the only opponent the Egyptian president is facing, as other rivals were deemed ineligible to run or have withdrawn.

Egypt's election authority has declared the date of the election outcome to be set for April 2nd, looking forward for the leader of Egypt to be announced.
