US cuts financial aid to Palestinians


(MENAFN) On Friday, US President Donald Trump singed the Tylor Force Act in which the states will cut financial aid to the Palestinian Authority (PA) if it continues to pay the salaries of prisoners, freed prisoners and the families of those killed by Zionist entity of Israel, Arab48 reported.

American media reported that the Tylor Force Act, which was named after a former US soldier killed in Israel, was included in a legislative package which comprised of about USD4 billion in aid to Israel.

PA President Mahmoud Abbas condemned the law and reaffirmed that the Palestinian prisoners and freed prisoners along with the families of martyrs killed by Israel would continue receiving their salaries.

The US should have called for "ending the occupation and suffering of the Palestinian people", PA spokesman Yousef Al-Mahmoud added.
