(MENAFN) 'Lebanon Contract Group' meeting, held at the headquarters of Italy's Foreign Ministry (Palazzo della Farnesina) in Rome, witnessed the participation of Qatar, reported Gulf News.
HE the Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al-Hammadi, headed the Qatari delegation which comprised Qatar's ambassador to Italy Abdulaziz bin Ahmed al-Malki al-Jahni and Vice-Chariman of Military Co-operation Authority in Qatari Ministry of Defence Brigadier Fahad bin Hamad Haie al-Sulaiti.
Ways in which Qatar can support Lebanese Armed Forces and the National Security Apparatus were discussed alongside methods of strengthening the efficiency of the Lebanese armed forces and internal security forces and to seek to complete UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
