Senate delegation discusses cooperation with Omani officials


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Muscat, March 15 (Petra) -- A Senate delegation, headed by Senator Nayef Al-Hadid, held a series of meetings in Muscat with senior Omani officials on bilateral ties and means to benefit from both countries' expertise in various fields, mainly in economic, educational and health domains.

The Jordanian delegation, which compromised Senators Haider Mahmoud, Bassam Talhouni, Hamad Al Maaitah and Ghazi Al Tayeb, met with Chairmen of the Council of State of Oman Yahya bin Mahfoudh al-Mantheri and the Shura Council Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma'awali as well as Advisor to Sultan Qaboos for Cultural Affairs Abdulaziz bin Mohammed al Rawas.

Al-Hadid said that the strong relations between the two countries' leaderships, contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation.

During the four-day visit, the delegation visited a number of national and private institutions, including Oman's Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
