Australia to support South African farmers

(MENAFN) Australia was declared to be looking into visas that could be granted to white South African farmers who constantly suffer from aggression and land seizures.

The move was justified by Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton as he stressed how farmers ought to receive assistance from a "civilized country" such as Australia, since they are worthy of "special attention".

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, he stated "if you look at the footage and read the stories, you hear the accounts, it's a horrific circumstance they face."

The minister then pointed out "we have the potential to help some of these people that are being persecuted."
