321 Gazans are still in Israeli jails, Palestinian commission


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Gaza, March 13 (Petra)--Israeli occupation forces are still holding 321 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip in jails, accounting for 5 percent of the total number of prisoners in Israeli jails, according to Head of Studies and Documentation Unit at the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-detainees, Abdul Nasser Farwaneh Farwaneh.

Farwaneh said in a press statement, a copy of which was obtained by Petra, that the Israeli forces arrested 88 Palestinians from Gaza in 2017, while the number of those who have been arrested since the beginning of 2018 stood at 25.

He added that the occupation forces also questioned dozens of Palestinians for hours while passing through the Erez crossing on their way to Gaza.
