Drilling operation in Morocco leads new gas discovery

(MENAFN) The drilling project in Morocco was declared to have led to new gas detection by the UK's company SDX Energy.

Net conventional natural gas of 5.2 meters in the Guebbas and Hoot formations were confirmed to have been discovered during the process of drilling the SAH-2 well at 1,304 meters depth.

The British company revealed that "the well came in on prognosis but with a reservoir thickness above pre-drill expectations."

Throughout the nine-well Moroccan campaign, five discoveries were recorded from the seven drilled wells.
