(MENAFN) US authorities declared that a social studies teacher fired a handgun after he locked himself inside a classroom at a Georgia high school, leaving the students in a panic state as they ran outside or hid inside gym lockers.
The teacher fired the gun as students in No Dalton High School are still inside the classroom, however, no one was wounded in the incident except for a girl who sprained her ankle while fleeing.
Investigations about the reason behind why the teacher Jesse Randal Davidson, aged 53, carried the gun are still going, as he rejects to confess the details.
Despite that, police concluded that Davidson didn't have any intentions of harming the students nor damaging the place.
