Israeli authorities raze Palestinian Bedouin village for 125th


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Feb. 21 (Petra) -- Israeli occupation forces,early Wednesday, destroyed the Palestinian Bedouin village of al-Araqib located in southern region of Negev for the 125th time, according to a local source.

The Local Committee to Defend al-Araqib said in a statement that heavily armed Israeli soldiers backed by military bulldozers broke into the village and leveled its remaining houses to the ground for the 125th times in a row.

Israeli authorities regularly carry out demolition orders in the Negev villages, forcing Palestinians to leave their own lands in order to implement its occupational and racist plans, the statement added. AK
