(MENAFN- UkrinForm) One more top Arab air carrier may appear in Ukraine, which will perform flights from regional Ukrainian airports to Asia.
Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan said this during the press conference "Open Skies: when could everyone fly?" an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Negotiations are under way with one of the top Arab carriers, and I am sure they are successful. If this air carrier starts transportations from Lviv to Asia and from Kharkiv to Asia, then we will see many Poles who will come to Lviv because it is nearby and it is cheap to get to Asia, and we will see Belarusians who will fly to Kharkiv," the minister said.
According to him, the carrier is still studying the market.
Omelyan also states that Qatar Airways airline plans to expandthegeographyof itsflights in Ukraine.
"We will get a new hub for Ukrainians and residents of Asia flying to Ukraine, it will be actually in Doha," the minister said.
As reported, at the end of January, Omelyan visited Qatar to attract foreign investments in the infrastructure of Ukraine and expand bilateral cooperation in the aviation field.
