Kuwait's FM arrives in Cairo for Arab meetings


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Feb 1 (KUNA) -- The State of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Forein Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah arrived in Cairo Thursday to take part in the ministerial Arab peace initiative (API) meeting.

Sheikh Sabah Khaled will also participate in the resumed ministerial meeting of the Arab League, scheduled as part of its extraordinary session, to discuss the United States' recent decision "recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel" and transferring the US embassy from Tel Aviv to the holy city.

Sheikh Sabah Khaled was received upon arrival by the State of Kuwait Ambassador to Egypt Mohammad Saleh Al-Thuwaikh and the Permanent Delegate at the Arab League, Ambassador Ahmad Al-Bakr.

His delegation includes Assistant Foreign Minister for the Arab World Affairs Ambassador Aziz Al-Daihani and Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Minister's Office Affairs, Ambassador Saleh Al-Loughani. (end) ams.rk
