Saudi Arabia keeps an investors' destination position despite crackdown

(MENAFN) A leading executive at asset-management firm Investcorp Bank BSC declared Saudi Arabia to carry on being investors' main attraction regardless of the corruption crackdown which raised some fears about transparency.

The Bahrain firm's European private equity business chief Hazem Ben-Gacem stated "Saudi Arabia is still a big market in terms of fundraising and investing."

His comments were directed during the World Economic Forum in Davos, as he added "our businesses in the Gulf continue to thrive."

The firm is thriving to put investors' concerns at rest while Saudi Arabia carries on its mission to shrink down corruption as it arrested several billionaires and princes.
