Jordan- ASEZA chief discusses investment cooperation with Dutch envoy


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Aqaba, Jan. 14 (Petra)-Chief Commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), Nasser Shraideh, discussed with Dutch Ambassador to Amman, Barbara Joziasse, prospects of trade cooperation between the ASEZA and the Dutch investors in the key fields of transportation, trade and investment.

During a meeting here on Sunday, Shraideh voiced the importance of launching cooperation with Dutch authorities in port operation domain, and added Netherlands has a "longstanding and noted record" in this field.

The ASEZA, he added, has an advanced logistics network, which turned the port city into a global trade gateway, and added it is looking forward for more Dutch investments in logistics and maritime transportation.

He highlighted investment opportunities available at the ASEZA and called for Dutch investors to launch their businesses in Aqaba due to its a lucrative investment environment and regulations.

Joziasse, for her part, said Aqaba port is a key global gateway and hoped companies from both countries kick off mutual investment projects.
