China constitution amendment to not include large scale changes

(MENAFN) The suggestion to adjust the Constitution of China to merely consist of "changes to part of it, not revision on a large scale," has been accepted by the Communist Party of China (CPC) senior chiefs.

During a meeting, the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee's members urged the values for altering the Constitution to be preserving the leadership of the Party along with mirroring the citizens' will.

Leaders who took part in the meeting settled the amendment to be founded on broad consensus while guaranteeing the Constitution's stability, uniformity and influence.
