(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Dec.28 (Petra) -- Some 100 kilogram of marijuana was seized by Anti-Narcotic Department (AND) personnel from a farm located in Balqa Governorate, some 35km northwest of the capital, a security source announced.
The source stated that the AND agents raided a farm located in the governorate, following a tip they received about a person that is growing marijuana seedlings between other trees in his farm .
Around 100 Kg of marijuana were seized as well as a car without a number plate, which is believed to be stolen.
Police started an investigation to bring perpetrators to justice, the source explained.
