Saudi Crown Prince, Palestinian Pres. hold talks in Riyadh


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Dec. 21 (KUNA) -- Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz held talks in Riyadh Thursday with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and intensified practical efforts to defend the legitimate rights of Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East of Jerusalem as its capital, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The meeting was attended by the Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir, Director of General Intelligence Khalid Al-Humaidan, and a number of senior officials.

Following the meeting, President Abbas concluded his visit to the Kingdom after holding talks with King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. (end) od.ibi
