The triumphant day was enjoyed by an exclusive group of Ferrari owners, who experienced a drive event designed to reflect the prestige, excellence and exhilaration that is the hallmark of the Maranello stable the world over. The anniversary event was made special by being the first opportunity for Ferrari fans to see LaFerrari Aperta in the country.
Technological excellence, performance, style and exclusivity are Ferrari's unique core values which are perfectly represented by the car launched to mark the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the company. Designed for Ferrari's most passionate clients, LaFerrari Aperta is the new limited-edition special series, an open-top version of the acclaimed LaFerrari supercar.
Guests were invited to gather at the luxurious Alfardan showroom at midday on December 16 for an informal meet and greet and a chance to view LaFerrari Aperta up close. Once ready, the group experienced a 'Flag Off' as they proudly set off on the drive element of the tribute in a parade formation, headed by LaFerrari Aperta.
The leisure drive into the heart of Muscat city culminated at the world-famous Royal Opera House Muscat, which is one of the most revered cultural landmarks in the Middle East. Guests enjoyed a flavourful lunch by Parisian gourmet café Fauchon, whilst having the opportunity to take pictures with their cars as a memento of the day.
