(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MUSCAT, Dec 16 (KUNA) -- The Arab Union for International Exhibitions and Conferences (AUIEC), an affiliate of the Arab League, convened on Saturday to examine plans to prop up the regional organization.
The meeting underscored the need to hold events that would bring together union members on a regular basis, AUIEC's deputy president Salah Omar told the press.
He touted AUIEC as a significant organization that acts as a marketing tool to promote Arab-made products. (end) ma.nam
