Kuwaiti oil price up USD 1.17 cents to stand at USD 61.63 per barrel


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 13 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up USD 1.17 cents yesterday and settled at USD 61.63 per barrel, compared to USD 60.46 per barrel since last Monday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Wednesday.

In world markets, oil prices were down yesterday after traders were selling for profit due to increase in prices, the highest since the past two years.

Oil crude price Brent mixed was down 1.35 cents to stand at USD 63.34 with the US crude Western Texas oil also down 85 cents and settled at USD 57.14 per barrel. (end) asj.mb
