Kuwait- Ethiopians illegal for five years Bangladeshi expatriate assaulted


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Dec 12: Two Ethiopian women were arrested for violating the residency law for five years and working in one of the women's salons, which is in violation of the labor law. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling the area when they stopped the two women based on suspicions and asked them for their civil IDs.

When the two women said they had no identification documents, securitymen checked their details on the database and discovered that they have been in violation of the residency law for the past five years. The two women were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal measures.

Meanwhile, a youth attacked a Bangladeshi expatriate following a minor accident along Cooperative Street. The Bangladeshi man reported the episode to the police and said he parked his vehicle by the roadside to discuss with the youth after the incident, but he was surprised when suddenly the youth descended on him with blows and caused him bruises in the face. The attacker is said to have fled the scene thereafter. The complainant provided his detailed description to the police, and a case was registered for investigation to arrest him.
