Kuwait- Ministry of Health warns on unpasteurized milk being sold


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: The Ministry of Health has warned about the spread of unpasteurized milk being sold along the streets, farms, houses and some shops due to serious consequences if humans get infected with Brucellosis.

Sources revealed the ministry has contacted the concerned authorities such as the Kuwait Municipality and Public Authority for Food and Nutrition to stop the sale of unpasteurized milk in unlicensed facilities.

In a related development, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition has warned the public against buying food items from establishments which did not obtain permits from the authority, especially the vendors and roaming sellers.
