(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Photo feature by Abdurazzaq Al-Hezami KUWAIT, Dec 10 (KUNA) -- The State of Kuwait spared no effort in championing actions in favor of promoting Arabs' oil-related interests.

This clearly manifested through being the headquarters of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) since its inception half a century ago.

The 11-member bloc was established on January 9, 1968 in Beirut, with Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Libya as primary signatories. (end) ay.hb
