(MENAFN) The biggest oil and gas company in the world, Exxon Mobil, has sent two cargoes of diesel and gasoline to Mexico's recently freed markets.
120,000 barrels of diesel and gasoline were sent to a private terminal in Mexico, from the company's plant in Texas, US.
Energy regulator of Mexico has announced last week the end of government-set fuel prices in the central and southern regions where price caps were still being applied, as after years of preparation, Mexico finished liberalizing prices for gasoline and diesel nationwide.
After the declaration, numbers of foreign firms planning to invest in ports terminals, fuel storage facilities and other logistics infrastructure, was on the rise, to compete with the top fuel vendor and distributor in Mexico, Petroleos Mexicanos.
