Qatar- Ministry fixes book and transport charges for public schools

Dr Mohammed bin Abdul Wahid Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Higher Education, issued a ministerial decree determining the price of textbooks and transportation for non-Qatari students who are not GCC nationals studying in the public schools.
The price of textbooks was set at QR150 per student per semester, while transportation fees were set at QR1,000 per semester for those who wish to use school transport.
The Ministerial Decision applies to all stages of education in public schools.
