Kuwait FM meets US Def. Sec. on regional affairs
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah held talks Sunday with visiting US Secretary of Defense James Mattis on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The meeting, which took place at Bayan Palace, was attended by Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Information Minister Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-sabah, a foreign ministry statement said.
The meeting was also attended by Assistant Foreign Minister for First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Office Affairs Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Mohammad Al-Sabah, Assistant Foreign Minister for Ceremonials Ambassador Dhari Al-Ajran, Assistant Foreign Minister for Deputy Foreign Minister Office Affairs Ambassador Ayham Al-Omar and Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for for First Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Office Affairs Ambassador Saleh Al-Loghani and several Foreign Minister officials.
Mattis arrived in Kuwait earlier today as part of a regional tour, which already taken him to Egypt and Jordan. (end) nmo.bs
