Kuwait Arabian Horse '17 festival concludes


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwait festival for the Arabian Horse 2017, sponsored by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, came to an end Saturday evening.

The three-day festival, held at Bait Al-Arab (House of Arabs), featured more than 370 Arabian horses.

Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of State for Youth Affairs Khaled Al-Roudhan, who attended the closing ceremony on behalf of His Highness the Crown Prince, told reporters the support of the political leadership of horse beauty contests contributed to the development of the sport.

He said the competition was fierce and the fans contributed to the success of the festival.

The award ceremony honored the winning horses from different age category. (end) fsa.bs
