Egyptian mosque to repair week after massacre


(MENAFN)The Egyptian mosque where the gunmen murdered more than 300 people was backed on Friday by Dozens of Muslims, including religious and army leaders.

They cleaned and repaired the mosque in Rawda village in North Sinai following the extermination that was acted by suspected Daesh gunmen in time for the weekly Friday prayer.

The head of Egypt's Second Field Army Khaled Mogawer was in a live footage aired on state television, sitting between the country's Mufti Shawqi Allam and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ahmed Al-Tayeb.

The cleric gave the prayer sermon and comforting the relatives of the victims, saying the dead are now in paradise, and describing the attackers as the "brothers of devils."
