Jordan- JETT start operating trips to Iraq


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov.27 (Petra) -- The Jordan Express Tourist Transportation Company (JETT) said it will start operating trips to Iraq via its buses, the first of which will take off on Saturday.

JETT Director-General, Malik Haddad, Monday told Petra that his company and the Iraqi General Company for Transport of Passengers and Delegations Director-General, Abdullah Al-Aeibi had signed in August an agreement to reopen and operate the land route between the two countries (the Al-Karama crossing), and complete the trips' program and schedules.

Haddad added that the company has provided a number of modern buses to operate on the Amman - Baghdad route, with the highest standards of luxury and safety on the road.
