(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency)  Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden) said it has launched the preliminary start-up of the rolling mill plant of Ma'aden Rolling Company. The company said in a statement today, the rolling mill is designed to produce 380,000 tons per year of aluminum sheets, which will be used in the manufacture of aluminum cans and other products used in the aluminum industries The financial impact will be considered upon starting the commercial production. Ma'aden Rolling is a joint venture, in which Ma'aden owns 74.9% and Alcoa owns 25.1%.
