(MENAFN - Qatar News Agency) Barwa Real Estate Group revealed its latest community-oriented residential property Lusail Golf Residential Development, at Cityscape 2012, which was inaugurated today. Covering an area measuring 3,659,736 square metres, 31% of Lusail Golf Residential Development is allocated to residential areas and 69% to sports facilities and green areas.

28% features public areas and gardens, 12% open spaces, such as, pedestrian paths, roads and utilities, and 2% is dedicated to community amenities, such as, schools, mosques, a hotel, and a health clinic. A further 26% is dedicated to sports amenities which include a golf course, golf club and tennis facilities, and 31% features low and medium residential density zones.

The development is split across three distinct zones; Lusail Gharb, Souq Lusail, and Lusail Sharq. Lusail Gharb is an up-market, exclusive zone that features a Greg Norman 18-Hole Golf Course, Golf and Country Club and Chris Evert Tennis Center.

It also includes an exclusive branded cluster of Norman Estates. Souq Lusail on the other hand is a contemporary inspired Souq which offers retail and lifestyle services, sports and residential clubs, an international school and a mosque.

The third zone, Lusail Sharq is characterized by its family orientation as reflected in its green spaces, 6-hole Academy Golf Course and accessibility to schools, the village center and other facilities. The Lusail Golf Residential Development also includes a retail village, a boutique hotel which offers 80 rooms, and community facilities such as schools, mosques, and health clinics.

Designed to be a unique mix of Arabian, Mediterranean and contemporary architectural styles, the residences include a wide range of traditional oriental and contemporary villas and townhouses, which offer magnificent views of the main boulevard and Golf Course. The residences also feature Norman Estates, which are luxury golf villas, in addition to Mediterranean style apartments and The Central Corridor Boulevard an exclusive residential and retail complex.

At Cityscape, Barwa Real Estate Group is expected to showcase a number of its leading projects, which include Barwa Commercial Avenue, a QAR 7 billion mixed-use development that stretches over 8.5km in length; Barwa Al Baraha, the largest workers accommodation in the Gulf that is expected to accommodate 53,000 employees and workers; and Barwa City, a 1.35 million square meter development, which was officially launched on 20th May.
During the event, the group will also be offering visitors a multitude of attractive offers, which include a 20% lease reduction on single retail spaces on the Barwa Commercial Avenue project. Retailers intending to lease more than one showroom on the project will also receive a 50% rental reduction on the second unit.

This special offer is also extended to all existing signed contracts on the condition that tenants visit the Barwa stand at the exhibition centre to activate the deal.
