(MENAFN Press) Cass Business School's Dubai Centre announced today that it has renewed its strategic partnership with the Capital Club, the UAE's premier private business club, to provide learning and networking opportunities for Club members, Cass students and alumni, and members of the UAE business community.

Signed in 2011, the first year of the partnership witnessed Cass and The Capital Club co-host a total of eight events covering a variety of business and finance topics, including mergers & acquisitions, private equity, insider trading, and sovereign debt. With the renewal of the partnership now agreed, the two organisations plan to build on the success of the programme to deliver a series of insightful events addressing the most pressing issues affecting the UAE business community.

Bill Loveday, General Manager, Capital Club, said: "The first year of the partnership between the Capital Club and Cass exceeded our expectations and we are delighted to be able to renew the arrangement. Working together, we hope to continue providing an informative platform where business leaders can gain fresh insight into a variety of complex, topical issues."

Ehsan Razavizadeh, Director, MENA, Cass Business School, part of City University London, said: "At Cass, we place great importance on applying knowledge for a practical purpose. The events we co-hosted with the Capital Club over the past year are a clear example of this and enabled our visiting professors to share their wealth of academic knowledge with a wide cross section of the UAE business community. We are delighted to renew our partnership with the Capital Club and look forward to developing another calendar of highly insightful and informative events."
